Hello, adventurers! Nina here, your capybara master of mystical arts, bringing the second chapter of our Kakele vocation series!
After the Warrior guide, today it is time to summon elemental power and talk about the rulers of damage and magic: the Mages! If you like casting devastating spells, controlling the battlefield from afar, and watching monsters melt away with poison and fire, grab your staff and learn from the history (and gameplay tips) of the greatest conjurers in the realm!

The Most Notorious Mages, Witches, and Necromancers in History#
Kakele’s history is deeply shaped by mages of immeasurable power. Some used their gifts to protect the weak, while others fell into the temptation of the shadows. Meet the greatest occult legends:
- Heron: The greatest researcher of life and death the continent has ever seen. She used pure magic beams to seal lava rifts and protect the citizens of Norde, founding the Explorers’ Guild. Her wisdom was so great that she transcended mortality and became an “Energy Master”, guiding humanity from another plane.
- The Magic Triad (Aurea, Glinda and Onilda): Three witch sisters who founded a school to teach healing magic to farmers and commoners. The bond was broken when Aurea, blinded by vanity, gave her soul to dark magic, forcing Glinda and Onilda to unite and fight her.
- Joelma: A dark mage who was imprisoned by the feared pirate captain David Jonatas. In retaliation, she cast a full-moon curse that turned the pirate’s face into tentacles and his hands into crab claws!
- Isis: The first woman of the ancient buried civilization of Sohterra to reach the power of a god, earned through extreme dedication and ancient mystical experiments in forgotten tombs.
- Captain Solaris: The sea witch and pirate captain who cast the spell that guided the souls of pirates slain in combat directly to the Pirate Paradise.
- Ghorannon (The Master of Disasters): A prodigy mage from the Mage Guild who became obsessed with darkness and the “essence of the void”. In his arrogant quest for supreme power that would even surpass gods Cos, Mos and Pi, he performed a dark ritual that shattered his humanity and left the world on edge.
Magic Power in Your Hands: The Most Desired Staves!#
For your spells to land with devastating impact, choosing the right staff makes all the difference. Check out the most coveted weapons every Mage dreams of wielding:
Level 1000: The Supreme Power Weapons#
- Warlord Staff (and its Light, Darkness and Nature elemental versions): The absolute peak of the vocation! The base version grants a staggering 1,200 Direct Damage and +750 Magic (obtained from the “Final War” quest). The elemental versions add an incredible +415 pure Magic bonus.
- Ghorannon Set (Paradox, Disaster and Cataclysm): Legendary drops obtained by defeating Ghorannon’s fragments. Each one is focused on an element (Light, Darkness and Nature), providing 1,000 Direct Damage and +650 Magic.
- Rainbow Staff: The new expansion sensation! Dropped by Pithos of the Past, this legendary staff delivers 850 Direct Damage and +650 Magic with a spectacular appearance.
High-Level Relics#
- Spiritual Leaf Staff (Lvl 850): Earned by defeating Shinigami, it offers 935 Direct Damage and +590 Light-element Magic.
- Golden Dragon Wand and Staff (Lvl 750): Whether the Chromatic (Light) or Undead (Darkness) version, they deliver a respectable 900 Direct Damage and +550 Magic.
- Kajin Staff (Lvl 800): An excellent Darkness option dropped by the Warrior Kajin and Zuzba, granting 750 Direct Damage and +375 Magic.
Gameplay Tips to Become a Damage Master!#
Mages are Kakele’s greatest damage dealers. But because they are very fragile (the famous “glass cannon”), playing them requires flawless technique and strategy:
1. Total Focus on Magic Attribute and Elemental Sets#
Unlike Warriors who seek defense, the Mage should focus 100% on Magic. The higher your magic level, the greater your direct damage, poison, and area-of-effect power.
- 3 Elemental Sets: It is essential to have a set for each element (Light, Darkness and Nature). Using the element opposite the monster gives a direct damage boost, optimizing both group and solo hunts.
2. Secrets of Solo and Group Combat#
- The Power of Poison: Mages can solo hunt in much higher-level areas using poison and fire spells. You can apply continuous damage to monsters and keep moving; mobs will die slowly even outside your screen!
- Mana Rotation (Hecatomb): The Hecatomb spell exchanges part of your life for instant mana. Learn to alternate healing and Hecatomb on your hotkeys so you never run out of mana during an AoE damage rotation.
- Damage Reduction (Horror / Debuff): When facing bosses or monsters that hit very hard physically, use Horror to drastically reduce the enemy’s physical attack percentage (it can reach up to 60% reduction!).
