The legendary Golden Dragon that lived in the city and had deep bonds with the population was the first to succumb. The curse drove the creature completely mad, consumed by uncontrollable greed for gold.
The protector became a tyrant: the dragon subjugated the population and forced the proud warriors and tamers to work as slaves, mining and accumulating endless mountains of treasure to feed its madness.

The prolonged suffering under the curse consumed the lives of the citizens. Over time, fury and suffering transformed all the inhabitants of Eldorado into the undead.
Years later, a colossal earthquake shook the region and swallowed the entire Eldorado empire, burying the golden city deep beneath the earth. Rot spread through the underground caverns, and today both the dragons and their ancient tamers wander the ruins like abominations.
The Rediscovery During the Nobles’ Excavations#
For many years, the nobility carried out archaeological excavations under the pretense of searching for ancient tombs. It was the explorer Mandala who uncovered the truth: the nobles’ excavations were, in fact, drilling into the very perimeter of lost Eldorado.
